President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with our Rector and Chair of the Board, Prof. Dr. Özlenen Özkan, and Prof. Dr. Ömer Özkan, Director of the Akdeniz University Prof. Dr. Tuncer Karpuzoğlu Organ Transplant Institute, within the scope of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

During the meeting, information was presented on the Akdeniz University CAR-T Cell Therapy Center—established with the support of President Erdoğan and offering new hope in cancer treatment—the 900-bed new hospital project, and the advanced technology-driven initiatives being carried out in the field of healthcare.
